Our interdisciplinary laboratory has resources both at the Munich School of BioEngineering at the Department of Bioscience in the TUM School of Natural Sciences as well as at the Helmholtz Munich, which is a member of the Helmholtz Alliance of German Research Centers.
Concerning imaging equipment, we have access to a FIB-SEM with high-sensitivity EDX, several TEMs, 9.4 Tesla and 7 Tesla preclinical MR scanners, several optoacoustic imaging devices, and custom-built fast fluorescence microscopy systems. We work in state-of-the-art biological research laboratories with cell and tissue culture, as well as zebrafish and rodent facilities.
